About our music
Typically, we play from a set list of 100 songs. This includes ’60s, ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s rock ‘n’ roll, soul, blues, country, and pop — as well as popular shag music and beach standards. Upon request at weddings, the band will learn a couple of new tunes for the Bride or Groom, as long as we have enough time to add them to our repertoire.
What we offer
Parties and wedding receptions, along with a mixed bag of restaurant and bar gigs are where the “Shem Creek Boogie Band” lay down their tunes. We provide complete entertainment when we show up. When the band takes a break we will have pre-recorded music or stream your favorite tunes to keep your guests engaged… Just let us know your preferences and we’ll make sure your party is everything you always dreamed of.
“Well thank y’all! We had a blast, and our guests did as well! I can’t tell you how many times they told us that they had so much fun dancing at the wedding. Y’all did an amazing job, and I am so glad we used your band for our wedding. We couldn’t be happier! Thanks again!” — Chelsea Crumpler
“Hey John! I just wanted to thank you guys for playing at our wedding on July 2. The music was perfect! Everyone of all ages was able to enjoy the variety of music, and I know we all enjoyed dancing the night away. I also appreciate you all being so cooperative with all of our special requests, announcements, songs, etc. I couldn’t have asked for anything better! We truly enjoyed it, and I hope we get the opportunity to hear you guys play again. You will definitely have my recommendation if anyone I know is looking for a band.” — Diana and Kevin Guest
